Professor Richard P. Baum is a nuclear medicine physician specialising in theranostics and radioligand therapy (RLT). He is a Nuclear Medicine Physician at CURANOSTICUM Wiesbaden Frankfurt, President of the ICPO Academy for Theranostics, and Chair of the ICPO Foundation Scientific Advisory Board.

Across a clinical and academic career spanning nearly four decades, he has contributed to the development and international adoption of RLT, including early clinical work in PSMA-targeted therapy and the development of TANDEM PRLT approaches in prostate cancer. He has chaired the first six Theranostics World Congresses and held guest professorships including at Michigan State University and Peking University Cancer Hospital.

He has authored hundreds of peer-reviewed publications and has received international honours including the Mallinckrodt Award, GLORINET Award and the SNMMI Saul Hertz Award.

Professor David Bowtell is an internationally recognised expert in cancer genomics, best known for pioneering work in ovarian cancer and personalised medicine. He is based at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, where his research has contributed to molecular classification of ovarian cancer, mechanisms of drug resistance, and identification of therapeutic targets (including cyclin E1). He is Principal Investigator for the Australian Ovarian Cancer Study (AOCS), one of the largest population-based ovarian cancer cohorts. Professor Bowtell is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science (FAA) and the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences (FAHMS) and previously served as Director of Research at Peter Mac (2000–2009).

Professor Désirée Deandreis is a nuclear medicine physician and Chief of the Nuclear Medicine Division at Gustave Roussy (France). She is also an Associate Professor at the University of Turin (since 2016).

Her clinical and translational research focuses on theranostics in oncology, including radioligand therapy (RLT) across thyroid cancer and neuroendocrine tumours, and more recently prostate and breast cancer. Her work includes the use of PET imaging biomarkers to support patient selection, treatment sequencing and response assessment, and the application of advanced image analysis and artificial intelligence to theranostic decision-making.

She has authored more than 150 peer-reviewed publications and is a member of SFMN, EANM and ESMO, including service on the EANM Thyroid Committee and as an ESMIT representative to the RLT Academy.

Professor Paul Donnelly is the Richard Robson Chair of Chemistry in the School of Chemistry at the University of Melbourne. He specialises in inorganic and bioinorganic chemistry, including the design and synthesis of metal-based imaging and therapeutic agents relevant to radiopharmaceutical innovation.

He has co-authored more than 200 publications and is a co-inventor on multiple commercialised patents. His research has contributed to the translation of new compounds into clinical evaluation, including trials in cancer-targeting radiopharmaceuticals and exploratory programs in neurodegenerative disease.

Dr Sandra Dunn is a biotechnology founder and oncology drug development leader with more than 30 years of experience advancing precision therapies for breast cancer. She is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Phoenix Molecular Designs, leading development of PMD-026, a selective RSK2 inhibitor in Phase 2 clinical trials.

Her work has advanced biomarker-driven approaches to patient selection in RSK-pathway inhibition and has been supported by a range of funding sources including the U.S. National Institutes of Health and other competitive grant programs. She has also served on national and international advisory and review committees supporting oncology research and translational funding.

She was named to the Forbes 50 Over 50 Visionary list and is a member of the Biotech CEO Sisterhood.

Professor Ken Herrmann is Professor of Nuclear Medicine at Universitätsklinikum Essen (Germany) and previously served as Adjunct Professor at the Ahmanson Translational Imaging Division, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

He has held senior academic leadership roles including Vice Chair of the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Universitätsklinikum Würzburg (2012–2016) and has led international initiatives in oncology and theranostics, including Chair of the EANM Oncology & Theranostics Committee (to 2023) and Chair of the ESMO Radioligand Therapy Integration in Oncology Task Force (since 2025). He also serves as Section Editor, The Journal of Nuclear Medicine, and Imaging Editor, European Urology.

He has authored more than 700 peer-reviewed articles. Qualifications: Executive MBA (University of Zürich); specialist training in nuclear medicine (Technische Universität München).

Dr Lauren Hicks is a gynaecologist, fertility specialist and advanced laparoscopic surgeon with a clinical focus on endometriosis, pelvic pain, fibroids and fertility care. She consults with Albury IVF and also provides fertility consultations in Melbourne. Dr Hicks completed her medical degree (MBBS (Hons)) at the University of Melbourne and undertook specialist obstetrics and gynaecology training through the Mercy Hospital for Women and Albury Wodonga Health. She subsequently completed an AGES-accredited fellowship in advanced gynaecological endosurgery and a Master’s degree in Reproductive Medicine (UNSW). She is committed to evidence-based, patient-centred care and has ongoing research involvement with women’s health services, with interests including endometriosis and outpatient hysteroscopy.

Professor Sherene Loi is a medical oncologist specialising in breast cancer and a clinician-scientist and group leader at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Melbourne). Her work spans genomics, immunology and drug development, with a focus on translating immune and molecular insights into clinical trials.

She has authored more than 390 peer-reviewed publications and has been listed in the top 1% of highly cited researchers worldwide (Web of Science) since 2018. She is Co-Chair of the International Breast Cancer Study Group (IBCSG) and holds the inaugural National Breast Cancer Foundation Endowed Chair.

She is a recipient of a Prime Minister’s Prize for Science.

Associate Professor Richard Tothill is a cancer genomics researcher at the University of Melbourne and the Collaborative Centre for Genomic Cancer Medicine, where he directs the Rare Disease Oncogenomics Laboratory. He specialises in discovery and translational genomics, with a focus on developing clinically actionable molecular diagnostics. His work spans rare and hard-to-treat cancers, combining advanced genomic profiling with diagnostic test development to support earlier detection, more precise disease characterisation and matched therapy approaches.

Professor Elcin Zan, MD is Chair of the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Cleveland Clinic. She specialises in theranostics, molecular imaging and the clinical translation of radiopharmaceutical therapies. Her clinical training includes Johns Hopkins Hospital, and she is dual board certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine and the American Board of Radiology. She has contributed to peer-reviewed literature in nuclear medicine and radiology.
